After breaking his own 6-Dive EP High School and Pool records Friday evening, Peter Hegland (Sr) broke the 11-Dive School record less than 24 hours later.  Hegland's score of 455.20 eclipses his previous best by 7.20 points during the Section 2AA True Team Championships.

Peter Hegland (Sr) broke his own 6-Dive record to close out his final home meet with a new pool and school record.  Hegland's score of 314.55 eclipsed his old mark by 4.40 points.  The Eagles next meet will be Friday vs Edina.

The Boys Swim & Dive Team's 96-82 victory over the Stormhawks kicked off the first of seven Dual meets of the 2017 Season.  The Eagles did so in impressive fashion with three Pool Records and a School Record in the following events:

  • 6 Dive Program -  Peter Hegland (310.15**School & Pool Record
  • 50 Freestyle - Jordan Greenberg (21.12) *Pool Record
  • 100 Butterfly - Joshua Withers (49.74) *Pool Record 

Congratulations to the EP Swim & Dive Team for their 4th place finish at the class "AA" MSHSL State Championships.  Special recognition to Kylie Rydland (FR) for breaking Emily Nayes’ 1997 EP School Record in the 100 Breaststroke.  The Eagles were represented in the following events:
  • 200 IM - Jennie Novak (3rd) 

  • 100 Breast- *Kylie Rydland (4th), Kaylen Hou (10th)  *School Record 1:04.47

  • 100 Free – Jennie Novak (9th)

  • 100 Back – Chloe Skogg (9th)

  • 50 Free – Kaylen Hou (10th)
