Eden Prairie’s HS Swim & Dive Team continued their streak of Top 3 Team finishes at the MNHSL “AA” State Championships for an impressive 5th season in a row (2011-2015).  The Eagles won 4 events and Joshua Withers set a new 100 Butterfly “AA” record in the process.

The Eagles return tonight to the Jean Freeman Aquatic Center at the University of Minnesota for the Class AA MNHSL Championship Finals. Last evening, EP advanced all three relays and six individual swims. The 200 Medley Relay and the 200 Free Relay are both seeded first; Griffin Back is the top seed in both the 200 IM and 100 Breast; Josh Withers’ school record time of 49.37 advances him in the 100 Butterfly as the top seed. Below are all of the Eagles swimming in tonight’s finals that begin at 6pm.

The EP Divers accumulated 56 points in Friday evening’s 1 meter Diving Finals. Tommy Heil (So) lead the way with 399.70 pts followed by Connor Flattum (Sr) 6th 339.50 pts, Pate Hansen (So) 7th 331.40 pts, and Austin Meyer (Sr) 8th 329.85 pts. The 6AA Section Swimming Finals will take place at 1p, Saturday (2/28), in Edina's Art Downey Aquatic Center.
