Eagles Dive & Swim Into State Finals In Record Fashion | 13 Swims, 2 Dives and All 3 Relays Advance
EP Divers took care of business Thursday night by advancing both Tommy Heil & Peter Hegland into Finals as they stand 4th & 6th after eight rounds with the final 3 rounds to be completed during Saturday’s swim and dive finals. The swimmers advanced 16 swims to join Heil & Hegland Saturday evening as the 200 Freestyle Relay (1:23.50) of Joshua Withers, Nicholas Tullemans, Soren Dunn and Jordan Greenberg broke the state record which was previously held by the 2012 Eagle relay consisting of Aaron Greenberg, Maverick Hovey, Mike Solfelt, and Bryce Boston.
Section 2AA Runner-Up Eagles Advance 14 Swims, 2 Dives and All 3 Relays to State
EP will be well represented at the MNSHL State Swim & Dive Championships this Thurs - Sat at the U of M Aquatic Center by advancing all 3 Relays, 2 Divers and 14 Swims. Peter Hegland's 11-Dive Records established Thursday earned him Section 2AA Diver of the Year and Dive Coach Aaron Monson was recognized as Section 2AA Dive Coach of the Year for advancing 2 divers to state and having all four divers place in the top eight. The Eagles also earned the Silver Academic Award which recognizes the Section team's 3.57 GPA.
Jordan Greenberg was the only other individual champion by winning the 50 Freestyle. Below is a summary of all the winners and special recognition during the Section 2AA competition:

EP Divers Shine in Section 2AA Finals | Hegland Sets Section, School & Pool Records
Congratulations to Dive Coach, Aaron Monson, and the EP divers for placing all four Eagle divers on the Section 2AA podium and advancing two divers to next week's MSHSL State Championships. Each diver had their best scores of the year and Peter Hegland's 500.80 points broke his own school record, along with the Prior Lakes Pool and Section 2AA records. (EP Results listed below)

Hegland Sets 11-Dive School Record at Eagan Invite
Peter Hegland broke his own school record as the divers tune up for the end of the season championships. Hegland's 475.65 points not only set an all time high for EP Boys, but also was good enough to earnfirst place during the Eagan Invitational. (EP Results listed below)
